微塑料（MPs）是近年来受到广泛关注的新型污染物之一。河口是MPs从陆地向海洋输运的重要通道，了解河口水环境中MPs的聚集过程，有助于理解河口MPs的运动。千亿QY88官网地理科学学院陈兴伟教授团队2021级博士研究生王毅以天然水环境中分布最广泛的聚乙烯MPs为研究对象，通过室内实验模拟和理论分析，揭示MPs在不同环境条件下的聚集过程。
相关研究结果分别以“Aggregation behavior of polyethylene microplastics in the nearshore environment: The role of particle size, environmental condition and turbulent flow”、“Influence of typical clay minerals on aggregation and settling of pristine and aged polyethylene microplastics”为题，分别发表于期刊Science of the Total Environment、Environmental Pollution。博士研究生王毅为第一作者，导师陈兴伟教授为通讯作者；千亿QY88官网|中国有限公司为第一署名单位。研究得到了国家自然科学基金联合基金重点项目、面上项目的资助。
